so im just wondering, does everyone have “vampire teeth” i dont know the actualy name for it hahah but the teeth that you have at the top and bottom like 3rd tooth in?

i do, but mine are sharp as funny as that sounds

Everyone has them unless they get taken out or knocked out. Mine are really sharp too. When i bite my tongue it bleeds so much.

I have a pair of vampire teeth. I want them to look normal. Is the only way to make them like the rest to file them down at a dentist? if anyone has had this done could you tell me how much it cost, how long it usually takes and how much it hurts on a level of 1-10 and if it does hurt do they give you main meds before/during/after? thanks

You’ll be surprised to know that they are supposed to be pointy. Most people wear them down and flatten the tops, due to clenching or grinding their teeth. Be happy yours are pointy.

If they are overly sharp and pointy, ask your dentist what he/she thinks about their appearance, and the doc may choose to smooth or round out the edges a bit. It’s usually done with a polishing bur (sounds like a drill, but is not), and it smooths (not cuts, like a drill) the enamel. The enamel is strong and you usually don’t feel a thing (level1- no pain). It you feel a little sensation (level 2) your doc will stop and it’ll go away. They will not likely have to remove much tooth structure. This is in your favor, because, depending on your age, you will wear them away soon anyway.
